Choose what you want to improve
⚡ GPU is selected automatically using Vulkan (compatible NVIDIA, AMD or Intel). No manual setup or GPU number needed. Actual performance depends on your GPU and drivers. NVIDIA NVENC is optional; CPU encoding is used if unavailable.
Preserve: upscale while retaining 80% of original resized texture. Gentle AI contribution helps avoid plastic skin.
Enhance mode keeps the original width, height and frame rate: it runs 2× AI reconstruction internally, downsamples, then blends with original frames and applies subtle sharpening. The model is animation-trained; results on realistic skin can vary. Both modes preserve audio when available. First beta supports up to 1500 frames.

Live preview uses fast browser image filters on a selected video frame. It is an approximation, not the AI-rendered final output. For a more accurate test use Preview Frame / Preview 2 Seconds. Changing output size does not create additional detail in this instant preview.

About this engine
Real-ESRGAN NCNN Vulkan provides general texture enhancement on supported GPUs, not a dedicated face restoration model. AI may invent details. Original audio is preserved when available. Engine installation is handled by SETUP_AND_START INVISIBLE GEM.bat.
